Egypt on The Nile

Day 1 (Flying to Cairo): Fly to Cairo on board of Egypt Air. (Other air carriers are available) (D)

Day 2 (Cairo): Upon arrival at Cairo airport, our representative will assist you through formalities. Transfer you to Le Meridian Pyramids with buffet breakfast daily. Overnight at the hotel. (B)

Day 3 (Cairo): After breakfast, full day sight seeing, visiting the Egyptian museum with the huge collection of the Pharaonic antiquities and monuments. Then you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, nearby the mysterious Sphinx, a colossal lion with a pharaoh head. Evening time you will be back to the hotel for leisure and relaxation. Overnight at the hotel. (BL)

Day 4 (Cairo): After breakfast, full day sight seeing, visiting Memphis the capital of the oldest kingdom in the world, and the statue of Ramses II. Then continue to Saqqara to visit the legendary Unas Pyramid, king Zoser Step Pyramid, Tomb of Ti and Tomb of Ptahotep. Then you will continue to Old Christian Cairo, where the holy family stayed during their visit to Egypt. You will visit the Church of Abu Serga and the well known Hanging Church. You will pass through the alleys, where Jesus stepped, also you will visit Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt. Then you will proceed to the Old Islamic Cairo and you will visit Mohamed Ali Mosque and the Citadel of Salah El Din. Continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar a place for shopping where you will find all kinds of Oriental goods and hand crafted pieces. Overnight at your hotel. (BL)

Day 5 (Cruise): After Breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor, upon arrival transfer to your Nile cruise to visit the temple of Karnak and the temple of Luxor, dinner and overnight at the cruise. (BLD)

Day 6 (Cruise): After breakfast, lunch on board, sail to Esna, cross the lock, sail to Edfu, dinner on board and overnight. (BLD)

Day 7 (Cruise): After breakfast, visit the temple of horus in edfu, lunch on board  sailing to Kom Ombo, visit the temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris, sail to Aswan dinner on board  and overnight on your cruise. (BLD)

Day 8 (Cruise): After breakfast, visit the High Dam, unfinished Obelisk and Temple of Philae, lunch on board, free time at leisure, dinner on board and overnight. (BLD)

Day 9 (Cruise): After breakfast, (optional) drive to Abu Simbel (3 to 4 hours driving) to visit Abu Simbel temple for 2 hours with english speaking guide and drive back to Aswan, after lunch, view of the Elephentine Island by felucca (saling boat) and view of the Agha Khan mausoleum permission is required, dinner on board and overnight on your cruise. Day 10 (Cruise): Early morning sail to Kom Ombo, breakfast on board, free day, lunch  on board, sail to Edfo continue to Luxor, dinner on board. (BLD)

Day 11 (Cruise): After breakfast, visit the west bank valley of Kings, temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon, lunch on board, free afternoon, dinner on board and overnight. (BLD)

Day 12 (Luxor / Hurghada or Sharm): Disembarkation after breakfast, and transfer to Hurghada by land or Sharm by air. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your (5* hotel) and will have the rest of the day for leisure. (BD)

Day 13 (Hurghada or Sharm): After breakfast, day at leisure on the red sea to enjoy sum of the world’s clearest water and magnificant corals or you can choose to dive or snorkel. (BD)

Day 14 and 15 (Hurghada or Sharm): After breakfast, day at leisure on the red sea. (DB)

Day 16 (Hurghada or Sharm / Cairo): After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive Cairo and transfer to Mercure Cairo Le Sphinx (5* hotel). (B)

Day 17 (Alexandria): After breakfast, transfer to Alexandria, by an air conditioned car or bus. Alexandria was named after Alexander the great. Egypt is second biggest city, it is a semi circle city on the sea, with lots of Roman remains. You will visit Catacombs of Kom El Shuqafa, Pompeii pillar, the Roman theatre and the newly opened Alexandria library. In antiquity the library was the largest and most important library in the world. Transfer back by an air conditioned car or bus. Overnight at the Le Meridian Pyramids. (BL)

Day 18 (Flying back home): After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your final departure. (B)
